Margaret (Peggy) Kent: Featured Artist for Feb. and March 2009
CAS is sponsoring the watercolor paintings by Clinton artist, Margaret Kent.
Margaret uses an intelligent and gentle use of color and the form. Her
favorite subject matter is flowers, shells and local scenes.
Margaret’s specialty is watercolor painting and she received her artistic
training at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art. Her demonstrated
instinctive talent has been further advanced through watercolor study with
Dewitt Brouard, Edgar Whitney, Frank Webb, John Massamino and Lou Bonamarte.
She is a member of the Clinton Art Society, Guilford Art League and the
Madison Art Society.
The Clinton Art Society sponsors this monthly changing exhibit, and it is free
and open to the public. All work exhibited is for sale. For further
