CAS Sponsors 2011 Annual Juried Exhibition
CAS will hold the annual summer exhibition from August 1 though August 21 at the Andrews Memorial Town Hall on Route 1 in Clinton, CT.
This year's juror is Heleen Cornet. She has exhibited internationally and published multiple art books. For more information visit her website at www.heleencornet.com.
Receiving is scheduled for Monday July 25 from 2 pm to 6 pm in the Green Room of the Clinton Town Hall (Route 1, Clinton). The reception is scheduled for Sunday, July 31 from 5 - 7 pm.
Exhibition hours are 2pm to 5 pm and 7pm to 9 pm from August 1 through August 20. On August 21 the show ends and is open from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Pick up non selected works on Monday, August 1 during show hours. Paintings may not be picked-up during the reception. End of show pick up for selected work is scheduled for Sunday, August 21 from 5 pm to 7 pm and Monday August 22 from 2 pm to 5pm.
Members may submit up to two pieces. Non-members are limited to one entry. Entry fee for non-members is $20. Entry fees for CAS elected members are: first piece (free) and second piece is $5. Entry fees for associate members are $5 for the first entry and $10 for the second piece.
All entered work must be original in all media including graphics and sculpture. Sculptures must be accompanied by an appropriate stand. Photographs, crafts, computer art, and copied art will not be accepted. Pictures must be suitably framed and wired for hanging. Work must not have been shown in Clinton and maximum size is 36" * 48" framed (including tryptichs).
All work must be for sale. No P.O.Rs. CAS will recieve 25% commission for non member sales and 20% for member sales.
Elected artists: Be sure to bring paintings to contribute to the $30 painting sale! Original paintings should be matted. Limit is 5 pieces.
